Sydney serves as a Recruiter for FGP’s Professional Staffing Team in Columbia. In this role, she is responsible for sourcing top talent, screening candidates, setting up interviews, and supporting candidates throughout the placement process. In her role, Sydney places candidates across a variety of professional services positions, including office administration, call center, customer service, legal, and financial roles. She values having the ability to connect someone with a job opportunity — whether it is their dream job or just a stepping stone, it brings her joy to know she helped make a difference in someone’s life and put them on the path to success within their career.

Prior to joining FGP, Sydney worked as a small business specialist where she helped business owners with their financial and employee needs. Sydney is a graduate of Newberry College, where she studied business administration.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Outside of work you can find me at the gym, happy hour, or hanging out with friends & family. I also enjoy weekend trips to the beach where I can put my toes in the sand and just relax.

What is your favorite travel destination or where would you like to go?
While I have not visited yet, One day I would love to travel to Hawaii. I enjoy being near the ocean, so it has always been a dream of mine to visit this beautiful state.

What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for coffee?

Matthew McConaughey, or Ian Somerhalder. Deciding between the two would be too difficult!
