Lauren McGowan

Executive Search Consultant

Lauren McGowan serves as an Executive Search Consultant on our Public Sector and our Sales & Marketing teams, identifying qualified talent for trusted clients. From manager level to Executive C-suite roles, Lauren brings a deep understanding of the key skills, leadership and passion needed to find the perfect match for both the client and candidate.

Lauren brings experience that is centered on talent acquisition and development. She has been part of hundreds of project teams working on key initiatives of clients, in both the nonprofit and corporate space, to include organizational design, coaching and development, and talent assessment and development. Her project management experience includes short-term assessments to strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining FGP, Lauren worked in nonprofit development, but realized her passion was working to support nonprofits in leadership and organizational development. As a native of Greenville, SC, she enjoys spending time in the community, serving as a member of a local non-profit board.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I love to play soccer. I played growing up and then played at the collegiate level at Bob Jones University.

What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

I’ve been to Brazil and would love to go back. I would also love to go to Iceland.

What was your first job?

I worked at Rita’s Italian Ice in High School!
