Mattie Abrams

Business Development

As a member of FGP’s Business Development Team, Mattie works closely with businesses of all sizes and industry backgrounds. Since mid-2020 as the labor market grew increasingly tighter and more difficult to attract and retain top talent, Mattie became a key player in our Midlands market building strong relationships with our clients. She serves as a proactive resource for her clients as she strives for a consultative approach in her partnership, making intentional effort to go beyond the need at hand. Her mission with every partnership she makes is to understand the organization as a whole to include their goals and challenges related to talent and how FGP could help them achieve success.

A graduate of Bob Jones University, Mattie received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and quickly developed a successful sales career in Upstate SC. Over the years, her passion for business development grew and following a move to Columbia, SC, she excitedly joined the FGP team where her passion for sales was met with an opportunity to help businesses through talent solutions.

Now calling Columbia home, Mattie and her husband, Jonathan, spend their time enjoying all the outdoor activities the Midlands has to offer.

What is your favorite game or sport?

I love watching all types of volleyball games, but my favorite to play is pool volleyball.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Most anything that involves being active outside: Working in my vegetable garden, playing tennis or golf with my husband, and spending the day at the beach/lake/pool.

What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

My Dream vacation would be to visit Santorini, Greece.
