Interesting Facts:
What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?
I love to watch any competitive sport, but recently I’ve begun to follow E-sports. My youngest son plays one at the collegiate varsity level, and we love to follow along on Twitch.
What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?
I married into a very outdoorsy family, and for the past 25 years we have chosen to unplug by visiting National Parks. My kids began tent camping as infants, and our favorite campground is Elkmont in the Great Smokies. A few of my other personal favorites have been Zion, Yosemite, and Grand Teton. One of our goals is to hike Rim to Rim in Grand Canyon.
What was your first job?
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in high school I worked as a server at Skyline Chili. I worked with all teenagers, and we had a great time. Additionally, it was a great experience in learning how to serve others, and I feel that everyone should work in food service early in their work life. (And if you’ve never tried Greek-style chili made with cinnamon, served over spaghetti and topped with cheese–I can attest to the fact that it’s definitely an acquired taste.)
