With more than 17 years of executive search experience, Chuck Drake conducts senior-level assignments within the life sciences industry with a focus on for-profit acute care hospital systems. Chuck has recruited CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and CNOs for both national and regional organizations. Working with urban, academic, community, and rural hospitals, Chuck finds candidates that can balance both patient care and profitability. Chuck has client relationships with both for-profit and not-for-profit acute care hospital systems.

Before his executive search career, Chuck worked as a CFO for two privately held companies and served in the US Navy. After retiring as a Navy Commander, he worked as an international contractor with the Kuwait Air Force, redefining the country’s aviation maintenance and safety programs.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I spend most of my spare time gardening. My co-workers love it when I have a good year in the garden. I bring in lilies, hydrangea, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, you name it!

What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

There is nothing I love better than a week on a catamaran in the British Virgin Islands snorkeling, diving and sailing with friends.
