Courtney Thomas, CPA

Executive Search Consultant

Courtney serves as an Executive Search Consultant on FGP’s Finance and Accounting team. She works across all industries to help clients fill critical roles in finance, accounting, and internal audit. Courtney brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FGP, having recruited accounting and finance professionals for over 20 years. She enjoys building a strong bond with her candidates and working with them throughout their career.

Courtney began her career working in Audit with another staffing firm, progressing through her career during this time. She also worked for 5 years with a national search firm on broader searches, while still staying close to accounting and finance professionals. Courtney holds her CPA license.

Courtney has always served and contributed back to the community. Throughout her professional career, Courtney has served on numerous non-profit boards, including being the President of the Junior League of Greenville, Compass of Carolina and Happy Hooves. Courtney is also graduate of Leadership Greenville.

Interesting Facts:

What do you love to do outside of work?

For fun, I have a horse, Legend or Punkin Pie (as I call him), that I bought the day he was born and now he is 17!

What was your first job?

I was a lifeguard and swim team coach for a local pool here in Greenville. It was the best job ever! But all time in the sun has led to at least twice a year visits to the dermatologist.

What did you want to be when you were small?

I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little. So glad that did not work out – I would have probably 400+ horses, cats, dogs, cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, etc.
